2022 is quickly coming to an end! It has been a great year!! I released Let Me Love You the EP, released a couple of singles (So Into You & My Funny Valentine), thankfully all of the tunes made #1 on a chart somewhere, I performed with my band with Willie Bradley as my guest at the Taste of Inglewood Super Bowl festivities, I featured on a few shows with other artists (Marcus Adams, Ilya Serov, Kyle Turner, Dee Lucas, Jay Jackson, Terrie Rimson) traveled, produced my very own Sold Out show “A Night With Castella & Friends,” was featured on a record - “In the Mood” with R.L. Walker, sang the national anthem at a Lakers G league game, sang the national anthem at CSULB - A LOT, created new “CASTELLA Love •Light•Music Merch, made a lot of new friends, met a couple of legendary musicians, went to a lot of concerts/festivals to support my fellow artists (too many to name!) attended my very first NAMM (man was that fun!!), I released a brand new Christmas song and I have another brand new hot single slated for a January 6, 2023 release!! Looking back on it, we stayed busy this year, and I loved every single minute of it!!
To everyone who supported me I truly appreciate you!! Your support fuels me to keep going!! There are moments when I feel like I’m a little crazy, a lot crazy actually for pursuing this dream, but I’m reminded by the last statement I placed on my wall at my last full time job (which I took down the very same day) “Don’t look back, you’re not going that way” … So many confirmations to keep going and don’t stop! The one thing I discovered is you can’t force people to support you or listen, so to those who have chosen to support me and listen to me, I thank you because you have CHOSEN to do so. Feels so good to be someone’s choice!!
