My Next Single - "So Into You" is Coming, but Why that song?

“So Into You” is the third single release from my EP “Let Me Love You - the EP.”  I am excited to present my second remake, Sleigh Ride being my first. (smile) Everything I remake has significance to me and is truly the soundtrack to my life.  I have a thing for 70’s Classic Rock, which they are calling Yacht Rock these days.   Bands like The Eagles, America, Ambrosia, The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, The Bee Gees, Little River Band, and The Atlanta Rhythm Section to name a few, are all bands that I love!  And there are so many more!! The music is timeless, melodic and soulful!  And I can simply listen and sing along for hours.  I’m not alone in my love for it, so that’s why I chose the genre to cover! And some songs just resonate, ya know!

When I was in high school, I would listen to this radio station called KOST 103.5 (So Cal) and they had this nightly program called “Love Songs on the KOST” and they’d play all of these loves songs, many by these bands I mentioned, and more.  It was then that I fell in love with the genre! Hoping to someday fall in love, my brothers would walk through my room and turn it OFF!  I wanted to hurt them!!  They loved messing with little Sis! But, they couldn’t turn the music off in my head as my love and passion for the music is in my heart and soul.  

Now, “So Into You” is a sexy song! It tells a little story, I know we’ve all been there a time or two.  That someone special walks into your space and there’s a whole vibe about them that simply captivates you.  Yes, that voodoo!! Such a smooth lyric and delivery!  My producer Jeff Canady had never heard the song, but once he did, he loved it and gave it his signature sound without losing the authenticity of the song.  I hope you enjoy my rendition of “So Into You.“ I had so much fun with it.  While on my HR Tour to Northern California, I sat with the track the entire 7 hour drive, up and back… (a couple of times) the time passed so quickly!  Needless to say, I love the track and I hope you do too!  It will definitely be a fun one at my live shows!!
