"Let Me Love You" Has Hit the Airwaves

“Let Me Love You” hit the airwaves on September 7 as a birthday gift to Castella for her Smooth Jazz audience! A gift in the making for over a year, the much anticipated tune has not disappointed! Hitting Billboard’s “most added” chart in week one and entering the Smooth Jazz Network’s “Top 100 Chart” at #68 in week two, was an amazing start for Castella’s “Let Me Love You”

In just a few short years, veteran Human Resources exec Cathy Thompson has made a mind-blowing transformation into emerging Smooth Jazz, gospel and R&B vocal sensation Castella. Under the guidance of producer Darryl Swann, who has worked similar magic for Angie Stone and Macy Gray, Castella follows her debut album THINKING ABOUT YOU and its silky hit “No Ordinary Love,” with her latest single “Let Me Love You” – a vibrant, easy grooving and summery expression of freewheeling passion, desire and intention. As a follow up to her last successful single “No Ordinary Love” California based vocalist Castella returns with the single “Let Me Love You.” The track was written by Castella and produced by Jeff Canady. Locked in a pop-jazz sweetened  melody, Castella works a sexy groove on this toasty offering. Her vocal range is sweet and effortless and we get the best of both worlds here as she doubles the pleasure lending background vocals to the track as well. The intimate treatment given to this track is almost like eavesdropping on a conversation between Castella and her guy.
